jessica has practiced yoga since 2011, and has been a registered Yoga Alliance (RYT-200) teacher since 2019, when she became a proud alum of the YogaWorks Baltimore 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program. she approaches asana as an invitation to know our own bodies as a means of knowing ourselves. she believes that she is at her best—her most brave, humble, patient, kind, strong, curious, forgiving, attentive, daring, grateful—on her mat, and that the practice is ultimately in learning how to be that woman as authentically and consistently as she can off the mat.

she approaches yoga instruction with this same commitment. as a yoga teacher for the past four years, she strives to cultivate a practice that supports yogis of all levels to find trust, compassion, and comfort in themselves and, ultimately, empowers them to move about the world with confidence and ease. leveraging her training in hatha, vinyasa, and yogaworks styles, jessica leads playful, dynamic sequences that build heat and strength without sacrificing safe anatomical alignment.

currently, jessica teaches public yoga classes at Movement Gyms Columbia (formerly Earth Treks Columbia). she also leads yoga practices for her Honors College students at the University of Maryland, as well as for volunteers in the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Baltimore. jessica is additionally available to teach small-group and private yoga classes online via Zoom, so that you can continue your yoga practice from the comfort and safety of your own home.

private sessions enable jessica to devote focused attention to the structural and functional capacities of your unique body; support your progress toward individual goals; customize asana sequences to honor your particular physical and emotional needs; and design a practice space specially for you, with minimal distractions or external pressures.
